10/20(SAT) 19:10 Vincent Tsai & MeguRee

Taiwanese accordionist Vincent Tsai and the Japanese accordion duet MeguRee come together to set the stage ablaze with a collaboration of European and Latin tango styles.

Vincent Tsai

Chair of the Taiwan Accordion Association and cofounder of Wei-Sun International Culture & Arts Co., Ltd., Vincent Tsai is often invited to music festivals and other art/culture events. He strongly promotes the accordion in Taiwan by inviting famous international names (such as Richard Galliano of France, Ryota Komatsu of Japan, and Pasquale Stafano and Gianni Iorio of Italy) to Taiwan to hold classes and concerts, aspiring to bring Taiwan’s accordion sector on track with the rest of the world.

MeguRee

MeguRee consists of Japanese accordionists Ree and Meme, both of whom began learning the accordion at the same time and teamed up as the duet Memery in 2015. In both 2017 and 2018, they were invited to perform at the Bellows Lovers Night music event, organized and sponsored by the famous Japanese accordionist Coba. Ree and Meme are passionate about tango music; the songs they perform are always hits with audiences. They changed their name to MeguRee in 2018, released their first album, Accordion, in 2019, and have since initiated numerous music events all over Japan.
